2cloves garlic
1can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
2tablespoons almond or peanut butter
1teaspoon ground cumin
1 lemon, juiced
1teaspoon olive oil
dash cayenne pepper
ice water


  1. Puree all ingredients in a food processor. Add ice water until desired consistency is achieved. Pour into shallow bowl and decorate with chopped olives.

Garnish: Sprinkle with pumpkin seeds, or for a fun Halloween presentation, create a jack-o’-lantern face using chopped black olives!
